Happy Halloween...

To Trick-or-Treat or not to Trick-or-Treat... that is the question.  Actually, the question goes deeper than that for many Christian parents today.  "Is it alright to celebrate Halloween at all?"  Or even more fundamental, "where did our American Halloween Traditions come from?"

Today I encourage you all to visit my friend Angie's website, Celebrating Holidays -- Celebrating the Christian History of our American Holidays.  (http://www.celebratingholidays.com)  Angie is not only the most selfless gal I know, she is also transparent, creative, and fun.  While my children love a trip to Disneyland, "the happiest place on earth" is actually "Ms. Angie's House!"

Angie is a gifted writer and history buff, she home-schools her two-children not far from our own house, and she uses what little free-time she can scrape together to educate other families in the Christian History in our American Holidays.

Here is a picture of her Tinker Bell with my Red Power Ranger, Trick-or-Treating last Halloween. The moment before this shot was snapped I overheard her saying emphatically, "No Brody, I told you, I'm not going to marry you... I'm going to marry Asher!"   Now personally I think Brody's just looking for a way into Angie's family.  She's just that wonderful.  So stop by and learn from her today!

Happy Halloween!
